Climate Change Think Tank
ECCO is Italy's first independent, non-profit think tank focused on climate change and energy transition. Founded in 2021, its work aims to accelerate climate action in Italy, Europe, the Mediterranean and globally. Through evidence-based research, strategic communication, advocacy and climate diplomacy, ECCO develops policy solutions on energy transition, industry and trade, finance and governance. In Brussels
In 2024, ECCO opened its Brussels office with the mission of bringing the Italian perspective into EU energy and climate policymaking. The office works as a bridge between the research conducted in Italy and the EU institutions and Brussels-based stakeholders, carrying out advocacy activities on a wide range of legislative files.
