A New Innovation Policy For Europe

Today   more than ever, Europe needs to use all its innovation potential as a key   driver to steer EU’s recovery, preparedness and resilience, and accelerate   the twin green and digital transitions. Earlier this year, Commissioner   Mariya Gabriel reaffirmed her intention to set for Europe a new (policy)   agenda for innovation and contribute to building a true pan-European   innovation Ecosystem . At funding level, the fully-fledged European   Innovation Council, the reinforced European Institute of Innovation and   Technology and the new European Innovation Ecosystems Programme, launched in   Horizon Europe and conceived to support the new EU innovation policy, raise new   and complex challenges for the Italian innovation ecosystem to successfully   compete in the EU R&I arena. This GIURI Open will be the occasion to: •   Provide participants with an overview on the new policy agenda for innovation   currently under development by the Commission • Deepen the three   complementary instruments under HE third pillar, understand the linkages and   update on the latest developments (EIC Fund, EIE, EIT KICs, etc.)
