ITA - Italian Trade Agency is the Governmental agency that supports the business development of Italian companies abroad and promotes the attraction of foreign investment in Italy.

With a motivated and modern organization and a widespread network of overseas offices, ITA provides information, assistance, consulting, promotion and training to Italian small and medium-sized businesses. In Brussels

The Office of ITA in Brussels provides assistance to Italian operators on three mature and dynamic markets, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, with the task of facilitating and promoting commercial relations and increasing the Italian presence.

The office offers a wide range of services, most of them free of charge, promotion, information, assistance and specialized consultancy to support the establishment of businesses and the sales of goods and services in foreign markets. In 2022 alone, almost 900 individual services were provided to Italian companies in every production sector. Among the most requested services, foreign operator profiles, participation in webinars and general and initial orientation information stand out. The office also carries out intense promotional activity in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg and works daily to improve relations between the Italian production system and the Benelux and promote the image of the Italian system, also through entrepreneurial missions and "on demand" promotional events, cut out on needs of Italian associations and institutions.

ITA Brussels also represents a point of reference for operators in the field of European affairs, promoting the qualified participation of Italian companies in EU programs and tenders.

​

The office supports Italian companies, through: the organization of information seminars, in particular on the occasion of the release of relevant calls; training actions and missions of entrepreneurs to Brussels at the European institutions.

​

Furthermore, with reference to EU programmes, the Office provides information of a general and initial orientation nature and indicates the most interesting funding opportunities through the monthly newsletter "Opportunita’ dall’Europa", participates in the information sessions in the context of the launch of the calls for proposals and provides assistance during the participation in tenders, also providing any necessary support during the networking and consortium formation phase.  Know more here.
