Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (UniSR) is a private not-for-profit University, one of the top-ranking academic institutions for the quality of its scientific work, with 185 professors, 84 researcher and around 6400 registered students in undergraduate courses, Masters, PhD programmes and post graduate Medical Education courses. San Raffaele Hospital

European Research
UniSR and OSR have a proven record of excellent research and high participation in numerous European Research and Innovation Frameworks and securing funding for over 165 projects since FP7. Furthermore, both institutions actively engage in European Partnerships such as IMI/IHI and have taken part in other EU-funded programs including EU4Health and Digital Europe. In a strategic process to amplify its impact and engagement within the European landscape, UniSR has established the EU Research Strategy and Policy Office (EUSP). This office, in close collaboration with the University’s liaison office in Brussels, plays a pivotal role in supporting the hospital’s researchers and faculty members in navigating the complexities of projects funded by EU programs. In addition, the EUSP Office is committed to policy making and lobbying activities, especially with the EU Institutions, and supports UniSR and OSR in strengthening their positioning and visibility in the EU as a leading organization.
