Uni-Italia
Uni-Italia is a recognized non-profit Association, founded on 30 July 2010 jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of University and Research, the Ministry of the Interior, Italian Trade Agency and the Conference of Italian Rectors (CRUI).

The Association promotes the Study in Italy abroad and the mobility of foreign students and researchers towards Italian higher education institutions, supports the internationalization of the Italian academic institutions as well as encourages the international cooperation.
​
The Directorate General is located in Rome at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in physical contiguity and competence with the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy to operate closely with the ministry and the representative’s offices abroad.
​
Uni-Italia also has Centres within the diplomatic structures and Italian Cultural Institutes in the following countries:

China (Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, and Canton);

Colombia (Bogotá);

India (Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore);

Indonesia (Jakarta);

Iran (Teheran);

Morocco (Rabat, Casablanca);

Vietnam (Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City).

Some Centres have a stronger regional reach, for instance Vietnam coordinates activities also in other countries as: Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, Laos, Malaysia, Australia, New Zeeland, Japan, and South Korea. Further Centres will be opened in other strategical Countries, such as Turkey and the Sub-Saharan Africa area.
In Brussels
In Brussels, the EU Liaison Office in Bruxelles is devoted, inter alia, to the following activities:

Liaison activity with the EU Institutions;

Branding and marketing activities at European and international level;

Multi-level lobbying;

EU fund raising (tenders; grants; financial instruments) with a synergic perspective;

Participation in the informal networks and participation in the technical WGs at national and European level.
